Wellness Infrastructure

The category
Three reasons this belongs in the mechanical room.
Amenity is optional. Infrastructure is not.
A wellness floor serves the people who book it. Water and air reach every occupant, every hour, whether they think about it or not. That is the difference between a feature and a system.
If it is not measured, it is not a claim.
Marketing language about healthy buildings is unverifiable and everyone knows it. A delivered UV dose in mJ/cm² and a particulate reading in µg/m³ are not. Clear sells the second kind.
It outlives the fit-out.
Finishes date in a decade. Amenity programming changes with the operator. Point-of-entry purification is infrastructure, and correctly serviced it lasts the life of the asset.

One system, every outlet
In every pipe, tap, shower and fountain of the building.
Point-of-entry treatment is the only intervention that reaches everybody. One chamber in the mechanical room sits upstream of the risers, so the kitchen tap, the shower, the ice machine and the fountain in the lobby are all served by the same treated supply.
The components
Two things, specified together.
Bought separately they are two contracts, two schedules and two sets of data that do not agree. Bought together they are a building system.
Evidence
Monitoring
Every system reports continuously to one platform. Clear watches it, and so can you.
- True UV dose computed from two UV sensors and a flow sensor
- Air quality reported by zone, live
- Deviation alerts to Clear and to your operator simultaneously
- Owner reporting formatted for tenants, lenders and certification
For the life of the asset
Service
Installation, scheduled servicing, lamp replacement and accredited lab testing are part of the programme rather than a line item you chase.
- Servicing performed by Clear, typically every six months
- Accredited lab water testing on an ongoing basis
- Performance guaranteed against the measured dose
- One schedule covering water and air together
In the building
One system, seven floors up and every floor after that.
Clear is not an appliance in a kitchen. It is a piece of the building, installed where the water comes in and where the air is handled.

Clear UV by Atlantium
Where the whole argument sits
One in-line chamber in the mechanical room, treating the entire building supply before it reaches a single riser. Low footprint, no pressure loss, and simple to retrofit into a building that is already occupied.
The Clear standard
Six requirements a building has to meet.
Written so a mechanical consultant can specify against it directly, and so an owner can tell whether a competing proposal actually clears the bar.
- 01
Treated at the point of entry
Purification happens once, upstream, to the whole supply — not per unit, where coverage depends on whether an individual household maintains a filter.
- 02
Dose measured, not assumed
Two UV sensors and a flow sensor compute the dose actually delivered to the water. Nominal lamp ratings are not evidence.
- 03
Independently tested
Accredited lab partners test the water before installation and on an ongoing schedule afterwards.
- 04
Monitored continuously
Systems report 24/7. Deviation raises an alert the same hour, not at the next annual inspection.
- 05
Serviced by the manufacturer's partner
Clear installs and services what Clear specifies. Performance is not delegated to whoever holds the maintenance contract.
- 06
Reported to the owner
Performance data is delivered in a form an asset manager can hand to a tenant, a lender or a certification body.
Monitoring & reporting
If it is not measured, it is not a claim.
Marketing language about healthy buildings is unverifiable and everyone knows it. A delivered dose in mJ/cm² and a particulate reading in µg/m³ are not.
True delivered dose
Two UV sensors and a flow sensor let the system calculate the dose the water actually received, in real time, rather than inferring it from lamp hours.
Watched from our office
Clear monitors every installed system continuously. You are not the fault detection layer.
Simultaneous alerting
When a reading deviates, the alert reaches Clear and your operator at the same moment. No one waits to be told.
Reporting that travels
Performance summaries formatted for the audiences that ask: residents, tenants, lenders and certification submissions.
Commercial model
What it costs, and when.
The objection is almost never the technology. It is where the money comes from and who carries the system after handover.
0
Upfront cost
New developments
No upfront capital
For new developments, there are no upfront payments. Cost is spread over multiple years, so purification does not compete with the rest of the construction budget at the worst possible moment.
1
System per building
One centralised system, not hundreds
Centralised purification is the most cost-effective route to building-wide water quality. One point-of-entry system replaces per-unit filtration across every household.
6
Month service interval
Servicing included
Installation, scheduled servicing, lamp replacement, testing and monitoring are part of the programme. There is no second contract and no surprise at year two.
RO
Membranes protected
It protects other assets
UV upstream of filtration and reverse osmosis prevents biological fouling of membranes, which reduces the servicing cost of equipment you already own.
